Warehouse Inventory Templates and Forms in Excel

It is another warehouse inventory management template. Unlike the previous templates, this warehouse inventory spreadsheet has another feature to integrate the inventory with the storing location. Since it is about selling product, the warehouse inventory management can be used only for retail or manufacture business.

The warehouse inventory management has 3 sheets, which all will be explained below:

BIN LOOKUP
The bin lookup is the sheet for the master location where the items are stored in warehouse inventory templates excel. The fields are:
- Bin ID
- Description: name or description of Bin
- Location: The location of the bin.
- Width, Height, Length: the bin dimension

Even through the Bin Lookup supposed to be third sheet in warehouse inventory template, it must be recorded first since the data will be used to another sheets. Some of the inventory may not be stored in another platform aside of bin. Because of that, feel free to edit and modify the warehouse inventory management. The Bin can be changed into ware house with Location field as address, or room ID. If so, then the dimension fields can be deleted.

INVENTORY LIST
The invetory list is the sheet to input the master record of the warehouse inventory. Here are the instructions of the column fields:
- SKU: the items ID
- Description: Items Name
- Bin: the location ID where the items stored. For more informations, look at Bin Lookup sheet.
- Row: the exact, descriptive location of the stored items. This is auto-generated field following the Bin.
- Unit: How many pieces of the sale items.
- Qty: the amount of the inventory in warehouse
- Reorder qt: limit of safe amount in inventory
- Value: the money value of the inventory with all of the quantity
- Reorder: the status field to give warning to the items with low quantity or below Reorder qty. The warned row will marked red flag.

 

Warehouse Inventory Forms Excel

 


At the warehouse inventory forms excel header are the information for Total Value field, Bin amount, and inventory items amount. If you click upper menu, you will automatically transferred to another sheet.

PICK LIST
The Pick List sheet is for storing the sell order records.
- Order ID: The primary key of order ID. Since one order can contain several items, there may several order rows with same code.
- SKU: pick one from the drop down list which taken from previous sheet.
- Pick Qty: the amount of ordered items. The Pick Qty must not exceed the available Qty, or the warning pop up will appear.
The rest of the fields are auto-generated, which follow the SKU field.

SUMMARY
The warehouse inventory management can be used for small retail or manufacture business, can be for company or personal. The Bin sheet must be recorded before other sheets. The main function for excel warehouse management system is for integrating the inventory with the bin location. It can't be used for more complex system like purchase order or billing, so it be best to integrate the warehouse inventory software with another application, or modify it.
